Strategic Direction
Since 1981 Middlesea Insurance has evolved from a reinsurer operating from the City of London & Malta, into a fully-fledged financial Group. Today, Middlesea Group, with assets under management exceeding 400 million Euros, focuses on local and international primary markets in both general and long term business.

The strategy of the Group companies is to retain their leading position in the Maltese market and seek growth overseas with emphasis on the Euro-Med region. A branch office was set up in Gibraltar on June 1, 2000.
