Mr Mario C. Grech, Chairman of the Middlesea Group, presented a donation to HE The President of Malta, Dr. Edward Fenech Adami, on behalf of the Community Chest Fund and Mgr. Karm Farrugia, on behalf of Caritas, during the annual Middlesea Group Christmas reception, held on Friday, 19^th December, at the Middlesea House in Floriana.

During the presentation ceremony, Mr Grech praised the valuable work that is carried out by the two organisations in the community.

Both President Edward Fenech Adami and Mgr Karm Farrugia expressed their gratitude to the Management and Board of Directors of the Middlesea Group and stated that this generous donation will enable the Community Chest Fund and Caritas to further their mission of helping those in need.

The Malta Community Chest Fund is a charitable institution that aims to help philanthropic institutions as well as individuals. Caritas offers help to people with social, psychological, emotional and psycho-spiritual problems such as substance abuse, widowed and separated persons, the elderly, victims of usury, persons at risk of HIV or AIDS and homeless people.

This donation reaffirms Middlesea Group’s commitment to support local philanthropic organisations.
